I spent the past few years at Menlo-Atherton High School working with an incredible staff and student population. I joined TIDE Academy so that I could be a part of the school's emerging programs and help all students meet their post-secondary goals by providing equitable opportunities and support.

As an Education Specialist, I am dedicated to improving the school experience for all students by helping them move past their predetermined perception of learning, fostering their leadership skills through advocacy, and strengthening the development of social emotional skills. My position also allows me to collaborate with TIDE staff to ensure that students are able to access the curriculum at various levels.
Short BackgroundTop of Page
I am originally from Texas, although I have been in California for over 20 years. I have an undergraduate degree in History and a graduate degree in Education. I am a former CASA case manager and present day father, husband, and fan of music. My work experience is pretty dynamic and diverse, the one common thread is that I have worked in education for the majority of my life and I absolutely enjoy it.
