I am the CTE Business and Digital Marketing Teacher The Marketing Sales and Service CTE Industry Sector emphasizes training to meet the growing needs for marketing professionals with skills in communication, small business, self-employment, advertising, marketing strategies, product and service management, and promotion and selling concepts.
My pathway provides a firm foundation for advanced education in Business and Digital Marketing fields, entry to a career, and success in the global marketplace.

After pursuing Masters In English Literature (from the University of Calcutta) and Masters in Philosophy (M.Phil), I started teaching English as both 1st and 2nd Languages across various schools in Kolkata (erstwhile Calcutta), India. I always believed I had much more to deliver. I gathered strength from Abraham Maslow's famous saying “One can choose to go back toward safety or forward toward growth. Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.”
After several years of teaching, I completed my MBA in Marketing and then relocated to USA to give a fresh start to my career in a Technical education field. Here I completed various Digital Marketing Courses and professional Certifications from Google, Hubspot, Marketo, LinkedIn, Facebook Blueprint and so on. Before joining TIDE, I was working at Facebook (Menlo Park) as a Technical Operations Analyst providing support to Facebook Marketing Partners on API/SDK Technical Integration issues and then got promoted to the role of Technical Operations Trainer responsible for onboarding and training Support Analysts in APAC and North America. Apart from academics, I'm passionate about art, painting and music, both vocal and instrumental (keyboard).
