In the Wellness Center (2nd Floor), students may:
  • See a school counselor
    • Ming Hsu - 9th/10th Grades mhsu@seq.org
    • Lara Sandora - 11th/12th Grades, lsandora@seq.org
    • *Students can make appointments with their counselors utilizing “Calendly.” QR codes are posted around the campus. 
  • Receive mental health support
  • Get assistance with other guidance and registration needs:

  • Speak with a Health Aid – see the Health tab for more information
 
 
  • CharacterStrong SEL curriculum in Nucleus classes.

    Nucleus teachers will be delivering lessons from CharacterStrong during class. For information on CharacterStrong, go to https://curriculum.characterstrong.com/
 
  • Community Circles/Restorative Practices -

    Staff at TIDE work with students on building community and have open discussions to come to new understandings and to resolve conflicts.
 
  • Mental Health Support Services
At TIDE, we offer mental health support including counseling, crisis services, and referrals to resources. 
 
Students can connect to our Mental Health Support Specialist by filling out this form or visiting the QR code on the flyer. Parents and guardians who are seeking support for your student, please reach out directly to Lauren Reiser at lreiser@seq.org or ext. 79051. 
 
  • CareSolace 
In an effort to continuously support the well-being of our students, their families, and our staff, SUHSD has partnered with the Care Solace program. Care Solace is an online multilingual resource with a live 24/7 concierge meant to assist individuals in finding mental health services, including appointments with a therapist or psychiatrist.
